GENERAL TARIFF BOOKING POLICY

Please note:

Included in the rate is accommodation, full country breakfast, pre-dinner drinks, five-course dinner, Taupo Airport transfers if required and full use of Huka Lodge facilities.
Rates quoted are in New Zealand dollars and charged on a per person per night basis (except rates for the Owner’s Cottage which are charged on a per room per night basis. Rates are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (currently 12.5%).
Rates are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
Children and Escort Room rates available on request.

Reservations/Payment:

In order to confirm a reservation, we require a current credit card number (with expiry date) as a guarantee.
The balance will be settled on departure by the guest(s).

Cancellations:

In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, the following applies:

25% of the total cost will be charged if a booking is cancelled between 7 and 30 days prior to arrival. Should cancellation be received 7 days prior to arrival there will be a 100% charge for every room night cancelled.
“No shows” will be charged 100% of the applicable rate of the total stay.

OUR CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR POLICY AND CANCELLATION IS AS FOLLOWS:
Between 20 December 2008 and 05 January 2009 (inclusive) guests must stay a minimum of three nights. Guests wishing to stay on Christmas Day must check in prior to, or on, 24 December 2008.

A surcharge applies on both 24 December and 31 December as follows:

NZ$400.00 per person plus 12.5% Goods and Services tax. (excluding children aged 5 years and under who stay free if sharing with adults)

24 December 2008: This surcharge includes wines with Christmas Eve dinner, an al fresco luncheon including wines on Christmas Day and a Christmas Gift.

31 December 2008: This surcharge includes New Years Eve entertainment, a gala dinner, dinner wines and champagne.

Cancellation for this Christmas / New Year period is as follows:

In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, the following applies: 25% of the total cost will be charged if a booking is cancelled 60 days prior to arrival. Should cancellation be received 30 days prior to arrival there will be a 100% charge for every room night cancelled.
