This property was established by a French Huguenot family in 1694 and its history is deeply rooted in the rich African soil that surrounds it. Gracefully governing the setting is the original 18th Century Manor House. Guests can dine at The Restaurant, their delicious food accompanied by some of the Estate’s own Angels Tears and Grande Provence Wines.

Huka Lodge features once more as a winner in Condé Nast Traveller’s Gold List 2006.
This time the award was for the Best Hotels for Rooms category in Australasia and South Pacific. We were voted top hotel with a score of 95.56% out of a possible 100%.
